WattsI did miss those shots. If The Mountain does end up dying, does Tyrion still get killed? If a trial by combat comes out as a draw and both champions die, does the person still get sentenced to death?
gRAPEFRUITSHUT THE FUCK UP!
No you weren't.
That was friggin disgusting, and yes those screams are going to ruin my nights for many many nights. I love how they kept most of the lines from the book, the passion of the Red Viper.
I hope they do reaction videos like they did for the Red and Purple Wedding.
*CUMMINGS*Lick my taint. I didn't give away any spoilers, although so many of these posts have tempted me to.
the.hellion.So good ... so so good. HE SQUISHED HIS HEAD !
And ... chamber pots - cannot wait. Cannot believe that only two eps left, either. And then another whole year to wait.
boo.
.MASSHOLE.Talk about nasty. For all those wondering yes, the man named The Mountain is dead....
J.D.He has already been sentenced to death... that's what Tywin said at the end of the episode. So yes.
hey-dude-its-meso glad I read that here instead of seeing it for myself in the show
exactly why I dont come in here, a bunch of no-lifes circle jerking each other thinking they're cool bc they read the books. "boo hoo this guy doesnt look like I thought he would. that scene was way cooler in the book. ooh I cant wait for xyz to happen."

hey-dude-its-meI thought the 'i raped and killed your family' smack talk before killing him was way more powerful than the visual gore. hard enough to accept that someone that brutal could exist but then put him in a world where he thrives solely because of his brutality and it was actually kind of draining
Lord_ByronAnd maybe in the book it was different, but The Red Viper was one of my favorite characters. Why GRRM! Why do you kill the ones we love. If Tyrion dies im done watching this fucking show.
.MASSHOLE.be more obtuse
whippleman his teeth getting punched out then having the guy that raped and killed your family yelling it while crushing your skull, quite unsettling
gRAPEFRUITI honestly feel GRRM has a god complex, he just builds characters up just to rip them down, just to prove he can do it. He basically took a character that NOBODY knew about, built him up for 3/4 of a book, then viciously ripped him away, and for most book readers it stung more than the Red Wedding ( which was one of the most shocking TV moments).
gRAPEFRUITRed Viper was the favorite of alot of book readers, and if not favorite, atleast top 3.
VinnieFreally? no one I've ever talked to who's read the books has ever mentioned him as a favourite. His story line is just a bit too insignificant and short I guess, even though it ends up playing a huge part.
KZAAlso, anyone else think the cousin Tyrion is talking about smashing beetles is really just GRRM?
Here is a better write up: http://www.reddit.com/r/gameofthrones/comments/272wmi/all_show_george_r_r_martin_is_the_cousin_killing/
gregorioThis is actually why I think I'm going to get tired of Game of Thrones pretty soon. The characters are amazing and their stories are captivating but I am getting the same vibes from the show as I do when I watch a BBC show that's been on a little too long so the writers kill off all the original cast and replace them.
--ski--My disdain for Daenerys grows every episode.

Chewy. The best acting in the show so far.
WattsI dunno, I still think Dinklage has done better. But the scene where Oberyn tells Tyrion about the first time he saw him when he was a kid and that he will be his champion was definitely one of the best in the entire series so far.
Lord_ByronAnd maybe in the book it was different

Granite_StateRead the first book then gave up.
The Hound is easily one of my favorite characters now and I can tell Arya is going to end up being a huge character much later down the road. I don't think Tyrion will die (book nerds can shut it) and I think Jamie will have something to do with him getting away. I want to see more of Jon and Brandons story lines...
gRAPEFRUITNext weeks episode is rumored to be based entirely at the wall.

gRAPEFRUITNext weeks episode is rumored to be based entirely at the wall. There is so much going on it can hold an entire episode.

_RonSwanson_But I love the wall!!
*CUMMINGS*It won't be.
_RonSwanson_But I love the wall!!
gRAPEFRUITFalse.
RonSwanson, fetch me a block.
Malibu_StacyIm so sick of that whole thing. The only good thing about the wall is that Jon Snow is on the screen which means I get loads of great material for my spank bank.
Lord_Byron*not a spoiler, havent read the books
But you know (eventually) The wall, whitewalkers, and the dragons are all going to meet. And thats a way bigger story and matters more in their world than all the little killings in Kings Landing. The Red Viper dieing doesn't really change shit. Brand's journey is the real central story.
.MASSHOLE.*NOT A SPOILER*
GRRM has openly said in interviews he wants to spend more time with the whitewalkers and the wall as the series moves on.
My theory, which is just based off my personal wants and desires, is that Danaerys, Jon Snow, and Stannis all join forces to stop an invasion of whitewalkers at the wall.
I honestly cannot imagine what Bran's end story will be. That one has me beyond puzzled. Cannot even gather an inkling of a theory on what his final role will be, unless he wargs into a dragon. Which would be epic.
Lord_ByronThey've focused more on his religious aspect, and theyve showed the whitewalkers doing some religious shit. I think the dragon coming back, him warging, the fact that dragonstone kills them, and brands dreams are all connected. But then again I could be wrong and they could all just die too.
