lol, She says the dragons names in the show. Drogon, the black dragon, is the dragon that melts the slave owners face. So that does teach you something about the personalities of the dragons... the black one is the most vicious. Stop bitching and being a retard and pay attention to the show. guess i missed that or forgot in the books.

and while i can respect not posting spoilers, to have absolutely zero discussion about the books which are the basis for this series while discussing the series is fucking retarded. that damn near drives the conversation to simply "cool episode"...."can't wait"....etc. blows my mind that some of you are too lazy to read the books, but they'll read about the show about the books on the fucking internet. makes no sense to me.

Well the books are total thousands of pages, while reading internet threads about the show takes a couple of minutes.

Apart from that, I'll probably read the books at some point, but after the show is finished. I feel like knowing what happens would ruin, or at least lessen, the experience of watching the show. Books are always better than the tv or movie equivalent, so reading the books first would just make the show worse.

honestly i just want those who enjoy the story through the show only to have the same awesome experience that i did. its not fair to give away any sort of content that the show hasnt explicitly spelled out for people because it can take away from their experience. with that said if anyone is confused at any point or has a question theyd like to be answered feel free to pm me, im sure ill be able to answer without giving away any spoilers :)

While his example is fucking obviously easy to avoid. I'd like to point out that some of the details will get fuzzy over whether they have been discussed in the show or just the books.
Ex: the names of the Dragons. Apparently they have not been named in the show as of now. In the books they are named almost immediately. I had no clue that they were not named in the show. Its been four years of the show and a few more for the books. Hard to keep a who-said-what-in-where clear. If you get your panties in a twist over that it continues to confirm what I believed the last time I was posting on this site:

100%. He's a better fighter than his brother because he's more measured, more tactical, and less prone to being baited into a rage fit and getting sloppy. The Mountain may be his physical superior, but when you put the whole picture together, The Hound is just more cunning and clever, while also being a freakishly strong beast. The fire weakness is there, but bringing that to the table is like saying, "ha! Soandso is afraid of heights, I'll fight him in tree!

I don't think you can so easily discount the fire weakness. If it weren't for the fire weakness I would say that he is the best, but that's a huge element. I mean considering that fire actually decided the most important battle of the entire show so far (Blackwater), and is what Khaleesi has (with her dragons) as a threat to everyone she's faced so far, it's more than kind of important, especially given that that larger turning point of Blackwater was paralleled with The Hound losing his shit 10 minutes later and being a huge character change in him.

Also, a couple of names haven't been mentioned in for "best fighter": John Snow (I mean why not, he has had essentially no one to back him up and his survived in a bunch of super tense situations/showed pretty good skills…his heart and his bastard name are his only weaknesses) and Brienne of Tarth. She proved herself in all the skirmishes with a few aggressors and Jamie Lannister who had a huge rep before losing his hand, and probably could have taken down a that bear if someone hadn't intervened.

1: Its Jon snow, no H, this isn't the Bible. and no, he isn't that great of a fighter. I would rather have Loras Tyrell fighting for me than Jon Snow, and Loras takes it up the ass. Jon killed the Halfhand because the Halfhand allowed it to transpire. Jon has not fought in any battle, or killed anyone of great prowess with a sword. So not Jon snow is not on of the best fighters, he admitted in first episode of Season 4, that Robb was better than him at everything, INCLUDING SWORDS.

Brienne is a beastly women, and while she could probably take many of the knights and lords of Westeros in single combat, Barristan would win in three slices, Gregor Clegane would just ruin her, THe Hound could just as easily defeat her. She takes Loras Tyrell in single combat but she is twice his size and wins by falling on him. She defeats a chained and weak Jaime Lannister, he had was strong, with armor and not been sitting in a cage for months, he could take her. Now with a left hand only, he can't take Joffrey. The people saying ser Barristan may be correct, but he fled Westeros to go help Daenarys, or is this thread not about the TV Show.

Um, Robb didn't beat Jaime in single combat, he outflanked his army. The question isn't who the best general is.

Brienne did beat him... when he was exhausted from having been a prisoner for several weeks and had his freaking HANDS manacled together. In a fair fight it isn't close.
