GRRM has openly said in interviews he wants to spend more time with the whitewalkers and the wall as the series moves on.
My theory, which is just based off my personal wants and desires, is that Danaerys, Jon Snow, and Stannis all join forces to stop an invasion of whitewalkers at the wall.
I honestly cannot imagine what Bran's end story will be. That one has me beyond puzzled. Cannot even gather an inkling of a theory on what his final role will be, unless he wargs into a dragon. Which would be epic.
I've heard that too, they've pretty much been ignored for a large part of the series so far.
Bran's story is alot more interesting than people think. I believe in TWOW we will see alot of Bran. Warging into a dragon is completely do able.

Obsidian was made from Volcanic fires, not dragon fires.
The smallfolk like to say that dragonglass is made by dragons while Maesters say it comes from the fires of the earth. [5] There are large deposits of dragonglass on Dragonstone and it is an important export from Asshai.

Yes I've read the books. The last one he lets his emotions get the best of him. After reading that letter, my blood was boiling too.
But about 90% of his decisions are sound and smart. Hardhome, Ranging & Sam are all sound decisions on top of what's already been done earlier in the books.
I was thinking about it last night - that maybe he's trying to hide a thick bravossi accent or something, because they always reference his 'outsiderness' ... But still, he's Irish and already has a sick accent, why fuck with it ?! And.. Why does he only use the one side of his mouth ?!
I think it's because it's the most "fantasy" of the storytelling and is the least believable and therefore the least amusing for me (yes I get Daenerys has dragons, but they haven't really been involved yet). Something about it just does not entertain me at all, I don't know if its the characters or what, and at least daenerys is hot enough to make her 10 mins per episode bearable.
