Day Time Long Exposure Shots

hey M&A

So I'm a senior and my concentration for AP art is motion

i want to do some long exposure shots at day time but have no experience with them. My teacher is a bitch and wont let me change my concentration now

i have some nice night timed ones but i need to do some daytime ones or she will fail me (supposedly)

I think i need to buy a neutral density filter to do good ones but i need some suggestions, and if anybody has one they want to sell/trade me let me know

any help would be much appreciated

What do you plan on shooting? How long do you plan to leave the shutter open?

I would love some like water shots, skiing though a park following the motions of the person skiing though, anything tho

A long exposure of someone hitting a rail would be so dope. Just put the tripod at a 90 degree angle of the rail and bang bang

Not much experience but ya you'll need an ND filter of some sort.

screw spending money on filters... just wait until sunset or dusk and leave it open 5-10 seconds and it'll look exactly like daytime.

Keep in mind that depending on how long the rail/exposure is, they might not even show up in the photo.
