Style: Natural or Practiced?

Obviously style is a combination of both natural talent + practice, but, after about 10 years of watching park edits i've come to realize you either have it or you don't.

Most of the super stylie guys you can tell from early on in their career. Not sure if anyone else agrees with this but was curious.

How the fuck do you agree with style? People practice a particular style they find looks cool. Real style comes naturally and progresses with time spent on skis. All solid skiers have a some sort of style and what drail was trying to say is, everyone finds certain styles more visually appealing than others.

For the most part, what people call "style" is not flailing and putting a slightly unique twist on how you ski. Both of those things take a lot of practice, but some people do manage to achieve them quicker and at a younger age.

You can have differing opinions on ones styles, whether it be disliking that skiers style or liking their style. In other words you can agree with someone who like or dislikes that skiers style. But yeah you can’t agree with style.

Thank you. Waaaay too many people don't seem to grasp this concept.

And to answer OP, I think it's both. Everyone has their natural style and tendencies, but it takes both practice and time on skis to refine that style. Also, look at guys like Henrik, Tom and Casabon. Style is not a set in stone thing, it can (and often does) evolve and change over time.
