Now, I got an 8mm fisheye. I absolutely love it so far. But I just need some help. What tips do you have for getting a good shot. Close but not too close to the skier that their skis will hit me. +k for help or videos
honestly close and low would be my personal best advice for general ski filming
as well as use corners and the edges of most distortion to your advantage when the objective is entering and exiting frame
For taking photos, I like to put it in live view mode, that way I can get low and close, but not get my head chopped off. Might be a common sense tip, but that's what I do at least!
Yeah also just got one for my NEX, did you guys get the f3.5 or f2.8? Also keen for some tips on taking photos with this lense eg sharpest aperture for landscapes and so on.
Sharpest aperature is around 8 I believe. I don't use the viewfinder when I shoot photos with it. I just kneel and hold it out shooting up blindly. I have some pics from it in my profile.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I have that lens too (with a canon t3i). When I use it for video, it's just not sharp. I guess I need to calibrate it? Anyone done that?
