Hey ya'll, I'm slowly shifting to be more interested in backcountry stuff, and I would like to get into it for next season. I probably won't have the money and time to buy a full setup this year, but I'm looking at a sweet deal on some Night Trains right now (I think the 11/12 model, not that it matters). I've skied them before and liked them a lot, and thought they would be good for touring because they're so light.
Does anyone here use them with an AT setup or know someone who does? How do they perform?
Or, do you have any suggestions for a similar ski that may perform better for touring? I'm open to other ideas, especially since this is mostly unfamiliar territory for me. Definitely looking for something with a similar style to the NTs though.
