Ski Shop in NYC?

Hey, I am looking for a good ski shop either in NYC or out in Queens/Long Island. I just moved to the area from Ohio and I need to pick up a new pair of boots as well as get bindings mounted. I went into REI and the guy had no idea what he was talking about. I saw a few people mention Ski Barn but I really do not want to drive to Jersey. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Google brings up a bunch. Both in the city and Long Island

Paragon Sports on 18th and Broadway in Union Square is the best spot to go. They are really the only shop in the city that has a full line up of freeskiing hard goods. They carry Armada, Line, 4Front etc.... And the guys that work on the floor actually know what they are talking about. Well the few Ive dealt with anyway.
REI is only good if you know what you need and are just running in grab it. EMS on Broadway in Soho is hit or miss. Sometimes they have good stuff.
The only ski shop in Queens that I know about is on Queens Blvd in Forest Hills. I used to live right up the road from there and its not very good.

Thanks dude- I went to check out Paragon and they had everything I needed....and more. Now I just gotta worry about paying my rent next month.
