pissed me off that Jimmy Kimmels audience was laughing at the dude who got asked about Two Door Cinema Club... which is a pretty popular band to begin with. the album name was fake but the band was definitely not made up, so they made that dude look dumb, when really they all loooked dumb.

I made the trip from vt last year for it and it was a hell of a time. Im honestly not quite as into the lineup this year, (its a good line up don't get me wrong but...) its odd to see some names near the top of people that have done little to nothing in the last few years. Reunions aside I'm talking about zedd, girl talk, foster the people and I'm sure theres more.

Stoked to see these guys made the list..

Not a super big reason, but you tend to see more "surprise appearances" the first week. And the first week has some appeal in that its the kick of of the festival season (aside from SXSW) so you often get to see people dropping their new music for the first time. Again not a huge deal.

If your trying to get tickets tomorrow try for both weeks and use more that one computer/browser at a time and exactly at 10am. They sell super quick the site tends to freeze and send you to the back of the virtual- line. camping was super fun but sells even quicker, especially for week 1. good luck man

we are talking about coachella.. the most marketed and "mainstream" festival in the US. I know it isn't what it used to be, but every year this comment is made and I can't help but ask "what did you expect out of coachella...?"

2 mediocre lineups in a row. Damn shame. Not saying it isn't worth it for some of the acts alone like outkast, just that this lineup isn't very good overall.

So true. I understand it though. A bunch of kids will be drooling over it and it will sell out fast. Then all the kids can do bathsalts and listen to shitty music.


That fest used to have some huge lineups. Very bummed to have never made it. Based on the last 2 lineups I'll probably never make it. Oh well.

Still hoping for an outkast tour or at least a few more dates.

Coachella is cool and all but I decided to hit up warped Seattle instead I feel like edm can be sick and the girls are hot but nothing can touch a rowdy mosh and hey there will always be ugly fan girls and hot ones it doesn't matter what festival you go to. What's that other huge EDM festival that's in Cali??? They always put out movies of it that look absolutely wild. And to be more on topic I agree the line up does look thin at coachella but there's enough good names in there to make it still worth going to.

I don't understand the outkast stokeness. I remember them being a terrible hip hop poppy band that was extremely played out with songs like miss Jackson and being clean in the shower..could ya explain?

Not girl talk, skrillex etc. I looked through it and found 9 I think worth seeing. Lineups used to be much better. They sold out but I guess good for them. They have a ton of people ready to buy tickets to both weeks.



If anyone goes do yourself a favor and check out fishbone the last day.
