Whenever I'm outside of the park I really want to try new things, but then i get in and all i do are stiff straight airs and some grabs. Any one have any tips on how to loosen up for spins and grabs, it seems whenever I go for a new grab or try a spin I get all stiff and end up hurting my legs landing the wrong way (especially back seat)
Listen to some music that you like and try to ski with people that are better than you because it will make you want to try more things and if those don't work you could always just smoke weed
On the physical side rather than mental, breathe out just before hitting the kicker, it means you'll be way looser and more flexible in the air.
For proof breathe in and try to touch your toes, now do it after breathing out, much easier when you haven't got two huge internal air bags in the way!
always be in an athletic stance leaning your shins on your boots when you take off. Also always look at the horizon everybody takes off and immediately looks down for the landing which throws you off balance and into the backseat
