the hookers vary from 5$ blowjob crackwhores to expensive call girls. on that note, you can touch the women in quebec/montreal strip clubs. if that's your shtick. bars/clubs really depends on your scene. we have everything from awesome punkrock bars, to douchy opened shirt guido clubs.

there's a lot to do it depends what you wanna do. tremblant is one of the larger hills close to montreal, but it's also reaching out to being one that's further. it's about 1.5 hr drive. if you're more of a park rat most people go to avila, which is halfway. i've never gone to bromont, but i think they have 100 runs? sauveur does have all night til like 3am type of skiing too every saturdays for january. i believe.

if you love to eat, there's a lot to eat. st-denis and general downtown is pretty good for restaurants, and probably mount royal area. we've got every ethnic food under the sun, even african and tibetan restaurants. get yourself a real bagel while you're here though.

if you wanna shop, there's not a lot of ski type shops in montreal itself, but there's much more on the south or north shore off island closer to ski hills. for other general shopping, there's like what 4 shopping malls attached under ground, and apparently the largest food court in north america... which i don't know if i believe.

there's museums if that's your thing too... and a lot of cinema stuff. there's also a few festivals that happen all year round. the nuit blance is coming (white night) where all public transit is free and runs all night, and all museums and all kinds of stuff is opened and free.

as for booze being pricey - a 24 of bud is like 25$. all depends where you go too. if you like beer and don't mind atmosphere, there's sports station that sells 4l pitchers for 17$. foufounes electriques is like a rocker/punk/emo bar that has beers for 1-3$. trh bar is skateboard scene if you're into that. they have a bowl and a ramp inside the bar, and it's two floors. also right next to the newschoolers office. but if you really really really like beer, and enjoy specialty crafty stuff i highly extremely recommend dieu du ciel and saint bock. more belgian types and good food. there's also brutopia.

also for strip clubs, my friends really like wanda's and i hear super sex is good, also, i've heard that amazon's has the most beautiful women. i went to downtown once and those were not attractive french girls.

also... if you're more 'modest' or just into, there tends to be a few burlesque shows in mtl.
