Went to their show, got seven stitches in my foot

What happened?

YES!! They are one of my favourite bands right now. I missed a show earlier this summer and really, really regret it. My friends who went said it was probably the best show they've ever seen (and they go to pretty much anything playing). Jay Buchanan has one of the most phenomenal voices around and Scott Holiday is one of the cleanest guitar players I've heard in a long time.

Insta, I was exerting extreme downward force with my foot onto a beer bottle and the resulting fractured class perforated the thin vulcanized rubber soles of my shoes resulting in a deep laceration to the heal of my right foot. When I took my shoe off blood literally poured out of my shoe onto the floor in front of a horrified group of people, whom I casually sat down with, asked a waitress for a rag and a shot of hard liquor, tore the rag with my teeth, poured the shot on it and wrapped my foot up and was ready to head back out to the show when several bar staff surrounded me and forced me to clean myself up better.

Saskskier, this show was in Regina. You missed out.

Yup. Definitely the show I missed.
