what happened to stocked rosters like this with crazy shots? I haven't been interested in a ski movie much since the year after this one with revolver and the way I see it.
Everyone is now out to make a skiumentary, telling a story or narrative instead of just showing awesome athletes doing awesome things. Hell, msp hasn't put out a proper ski movie in 2 years now. I know amateur movies have come a long way, field productions and stept have really kind of taken the reigns as far as just good solid ski shots, but those companies don't have the budget the big 3 do to make segments like the one above happen. Lastly, movies like the wallisch project just show how splintered the whole pro community has become, everyone used to pitch in to make awesome segments happen, so companies now have to fill the rosters with whats his face and o yeah that guy. It's just sad I keep watching the same 4 movies year after year to get hyped about the season or the weekend.
