Do you think rocker skis make lousy park skis?

This year my new setup is Alpha 1's. I figured it would be a more playful ski and would help me butter better because that's big on my list on what to get really good at.

but then the jumps...
I'm stomping my landings, but I think I'm still washing out or something weird is going on because I completely lose my line for the next jump despite coming down perfectly.

Does anybody have this issue as well hence why you hardly ever see people with alphas in the park?

Nah man my halos are great for park but they have shitty durability. Op how are your Alpha's holding up in the park?

They're holding up fine, but I've only been out maybe 7 days this year and a few of those were powder days and other days only parts of the day were in the park.

They are the only skis I've used in the park so far this year, so maybe it's more me than the skis. But I have rotated and landed perfectly and still blown my line

If you land good enough you won't wash out. I ski one lifes in park and I have zero problems....

I prefer all regular camber skis for park becasue i only jump now that im old. if i still hit rails maybe id like rocker.

Obviously your legs aren't strong enough stomp. But really...I've had no problem on my Blends and they are rockered tip/tail.

I have a problem keeping speed in jump lines too. It is most likely not the ski. Try to get into a position where you are getting forward boot pressure and are gaining speed. You could also try waxing your skis.
