Replying to Softening Skis

So I have a pair of almost new (I've rode on them maybe 10-15 days) '07 (?) Surface Watch Lifes which are too stiff for my preferences. I love buttering around the mountain so I was pretty upset when I found out buttering is impossible on these skis, no matter how hard I try to flex the tails. The nose is a little softer, but I'd still prefer if the ski had a little more flex in it. Is there any way to safely soften a pair of skis?
