Pandora stations

hey anyone have any suggestions for good pandora stations? i listen a lot at work and have gotten sick of the handful of standup comedy and music stations i listen to. maybe some good stand up stations, or something else...?

slightly stoopd is my go-to station. so many amazing bands on there.

Downloading a Podcast app then searching the Joe Rogan Experience is a good start to finding hours of stuff to listen too and explore..

Pusha t radio is good but it's flooded with Kanye, Rick Ross if you're more into that mainstream rap, J Boog radio is the best... Just the best, and Iron Maiden for when I want to hit things.

The Strokes radio is my go to. Lots of RHCP, Black Keys, White Stripes, Arctic Monkeys, etc. It's usually that or Megadeth radio. Metallica, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Black Sabbath, etc. it's pretty solid. Not sure what you're into.

I've been listening to Songza a lot more than Pandora recently. It has playlists that you can search by genre/mood/etc. My personal favorites are No Rest of the Wicked and Sleaze Rock Revival.

I listen to Ray LaMontagne radio on pandora.
It's my favorite station, and I listen to it constantly...at work, in the car, falling asleep.
It's not up beat, but it's good!

I also listen to The Naked and Famous radio on pandora when I'm feeling a little more up beat.
But The Naked and Famous is my favorite band, so I don't know if it's your style!

reggae radio gives some solid jams. asap rocky and kendrick lamar are similar, but kendricks station has some more main stream stuff.

I made an Iron Maiden radio a while ago and just started listening to it again while skiing. The combination of my likes and the main station created the best mix of hard songs and more easy going songs.

i used to listen to a bunch of pandora but kinda stopped, pandora sucks these days. its just getting continually more cluttered with ads and shit. i remember when it had unlimited skips and no ads and all that.

i feel like pandora is good when you need to get into an artist or genre, but once your after something specific it kinda plays the same shit over and over

Like mentioned earlier, try podcast. I used to listen to stand-up comedy on Pandora until I found podcast. Try: The Joe Rogan Experience or Ari Shaffir's Skeptic Tank. Changed my life...


For Pandora though I dig Gaslight Anthem with Iration influence.

My two favorites right now are my Black Keys/Black Crowes station and my Temptations station. Nothing puts me in a good mood like some oldies/Motown/doo-wop.

It's all about tweaking a station to add/remove what you want.

I have a guitar only station that plays anything from 80's metal guitar virtuosos to classical to jazz; all without ever hearing lyrics. It took me a few months but it's a good way to get through a day at work.

I usually don't like pandora selections that much, but their wu-tang clan radio is pretty damn awesome. Good variety, and i find a lot of good music.
