I did talk to an admin of the page (They actually are on NS), and he took our criticism of the page seriously and fed it on to the other admins. Hopefully the page will whip into shape now.

The key is that there's a difference between needless hate and calling out someone for really not doing a good job. The ski memes page doesn't do a good job and needs to be funnier - and as such is getting lambasted for it.

Do what we do here at NS - take it as a sign that you're not appealing to the right market and work harder to figure out what people like. When you get called out its the perfect time to realize you need to change. Be a part of this community, and you shall be accepted. Hell we can help you be awesome.

Awhile ago they took my cover photo (A quote on a picture I made on paint for fun) without my permission or anything. It went kinda viral among skiers without any real credit to me. That bothered me a little.
