After watching part one of his season edit I have nothing but respect for him. The tricks he threw were absolutely nasty. I also love how there was no park skiing in part one of his season edit. Props Gus
This video came out of left field, pretty sick. Good to see gus still gots it, hopefully some of these dudes start filming more after the olympics is over.
Yeah I was even surprised when he had a few pow shots too and the urban was tight as hell, id like to see more backcountry and urban videos comin from him, that would be dope.
Completely unexpected. Some of these comp guys can SLAY urban. I know NS would hate it cause "fuck comp skiers" and all that but imagine someone with the consistency of gus hitting stept size features - I'm sure he could deliver some killer shots.
I gotta admit....I didn't see that coming. Just straight assault and battery of everything. Not to mention competing in 2, sometimes 3 events at damn near every comp. Definition of getting after it.
You, know there was one shot where it really stood out—that one where it's a closeup looking down the rail from up past the lip, but otherwise I either didn't notice because what was happening was crazy, or I just didn't really care. But, I hear what you're saying.
He hasn't "filmed" since joss team NS, i know he can kill it on rails and bc shit but he doesnt film with anyone, so its good to see he can still kill it
He seems to get a lot of hate on here for being so comp oriented, and while I don't really like comps all that much I have to admit, the guy is a damn good skier and deserves some respect for that
Do you watch edits or competitions, sure his edits are sick but how many times does eh bail trying a trick. I measure a skiers talent by how they do in competition when the pressure is on not hitting the same trick 15-20 times till they land it.
I'm entitled to my opinion, I think he slays the jibs and his aerials are getting better from where he was last year and the year before.
Get off my dick, just because it's not your opinion doesn't mean it's the only one
Gus is just an all around great skier and it's unfortunate that a lot people don't recognize it. I mean he can triple in big air and double in both pipe and slope style. And this edit was way to dope.
