Ok so the shitty conditions of Rhode Island skiing have managed to pull this on me, and im not happy. I have other skis to use, but I really prefer to use my bad skis for urban and skiing in Rhode Island. So I was wondering if there is anyway to fix this, because my pro shop said I just just toss them.
Cut it off and hammer in whatever is still sticking out. Obviously they aren't going to hold up very well from now on, but they will be fine for urban.
Having the same problem with my skis.. Bent the edges off and duct taped them up how long does the tape typically stay on for? My main concern is that they will continue to delam underneath the tape to the point where the edge pops out even more. I just keep picturing the delammed edge catching on the snow while I'm skiing switch... Is it even worth attempting to repair them at this point or should I just get new skis?
Try to marine appoxy it then duck tape over it. Been going ten days with duck tape. Its a bandaide for now and will give you enough time to save up for new skis.
