Im pretty new to freeskiing and love it! I can hit rails and rails to switch. My main enemy is the round rail/ tube. At my local hill they curretly have a large tube about 1-1.5 feet wide and about 10 feet long. Whenever I try to hit it i can get about half way at most and then fall off to one side. I also have not tried any round rails or big down round rails. What do i have to do diferently to slide a round rail than a flat bar? Thanks for any help i get! Happy skiing:)
If you keep falling off the front, try to land on your toes a little more, and vice versa. Make sure you pop and then turn 90 in the air, so you keep your momentum in a straight line. I know what you mean I used to slip forward off tubes all the time. You just gotta find that middle point and then it'll be easy.
Make sure you're spotting the end of the rail and not just staring at the middle once you hop on. Chances are, you're falling off right where you're looking.
