Does anyone know what siri is trying to say?

If you use siri and ask "what is july 27th(2014)?" It replies "opening the gates of hades which is hell" and if you ask siri "what is september 3rd(2014)?" It says "closing the gates of hades." Does anyone know why apple did this or why thats the response?
