sort of on topic. I havent paid for a lift pass this year (only 5 days). I don't feel bad about it. My sister paid $88 to night ski and they didnt check her once. So why should I pay $60 to ski for a day when they dont ask for proof of payment? (Thats a week of groceries or ski one day) I cant afford it anymore. Maybe if they had a student deal and charged 35 or something reasonable I would consider paying. On busy days I spend 30 mins in the line for a one minute run, not worth it at all.
Ive found an ipod on the hill and a pack of cigs but never taken anything. People who do really suck and deserve heavy penalties but they do exist so lock up your stuff.
Skiing Pro Tip: What i do is trade one ski with a friend then we go hide the mixed matched pairs far away from eachother. This way people walking by wont steal a mismatched pair of skis, they have to first find them then find the other pair. Works even better when you split pairs up with more then one other person.
