Replying to Opinions please

So i recently visited a local ski shop over the holidays and noticed a 2 new brands in their selections, they may not be new but they are new to the store. They were surface and icelantic. The guy who helped me and told me about them showed me the live life surfaces and the nomad icelantics. in comparison which pair is better also compared to the line blends for a person such as myself (5'9" 150 lbs, intermiediate/expert) who enjoys the park alot but who also enjoys slaying the powder and trees.
