No shit it's scripted, first episode I watched the 2 wifes had to go on top of the roof to get something and used the crane thing or whatever that fuck that thing that lifts you up is called, they got to the top (30 ft up) and the thing just broke down on them! then the "sheriff" comes to save them, holy shit I wouldn't be surprised if it was the real sheriff, he looked retarded when talking and just looked so obvious that he was acting

So just because the Robertsons didn't have beards before the show means that the whole thing is scripted. Theoretically they could have all pursued different careers earlier in their lives then as a group decided to start Duck Commanders at which point they devoted their lives to hunting, grew beards, and started wearing camo.

That being said, the show is 100% scripted

I can't watch the show because it's so painfully obvious how scripted it is. Terrible actors and a "CEO" doesn't actually have all that time to piss away dicking around in his warehouse with his relatives.

i watched their first show on the outdoor channel that was all about hunting and they all have beards and it was all about them duck hunting. It is actually not staged and it follows them around while they hunt. You can also see that their beards and hair are shorter because it takes a long time to grow that out
