Turn when you get off the lift. Don't be one of those motherfuckers that skis straight right after the lift, so that the other people can't get to the trail.

Stop being shy. I am a shy person and I started riding up the lift with randos and talking to people. It makes lift rides much more interesting, and sometimes you meet really cool people. I can't stand it anymore when I see 2 chairs in a row with only one person on it.

Don't be a dick and roll past someone's head after they go down. This happened to me yesterday and i was so pissed. Let that guy know how i felt about him. felt kinda guilty guess that's what happens when there are so many gapers cruising through the park

Let people do their straight air if they want to. Just because you can double wobble 2160 doesn't mean you're allowed to cut the line.

Also don't get in the way of people filming.
Last time I was skiing pow we had this sick setup and a camera rolling.
A friend called drop in and the very same moment some asshole skied right in front of our cam.
That's probably one of the biggest dick moves possible, specially if there is a whole lot of fucking untracked pow a couple of meters to the side.

and if someone does fuck up and stall the line by one chair, johnny skier in the back of the line wearing his beanie and shades from the 80's still on his 215s doesn't need to freak out and start causing a stir in the line. its one fucking chair man, you will make it off the lift by the time the other person is turning away from the off-ramp.

some people need to chill the fuck out in line when there are big crowds. its not going to make it any faster by yelling at everyone how fast you can ski down the mountain. and alternating like you are supposed to benefits everyone!

Dont ditch lift beers or trash, you got it from a pocket or backpack, shove that shit back in there. The mountain is like a beautiful woman treat her right.
Be stoked about your skills but be humble or youll get humbled in some way or another.
Dont chirp people unless they legitimately wronged you, if they are out there killin it at their own level, takin diggers like a champ give them props.

Yeah, I will definitely second this one.

The day after my birthday, I puked out the Whistler Gondola on the way to picking up a group of kids I was coaching. It was only one of the other coaches that saw, so I thought I was in the clear. Unfortunately, I followed up that effort later in the morning with a huge, watery hurl in the Peak to Peak in front of 20 rabid, 10 year old park rats, the other coach, the coaches wife and two stunned euro tourists. Not my finest hour.
