what if you are deciding on the way up where you are gonna go?
what if multiple people were going the same direction?

This!! especially on crowded days! nothing is more annoying than the douche behind you in line that rams the backs of your skis every minute because they are so antsy to move up in the lift line.

its not like a chair is magically going to skip you because you weren't immediately right behind me. or just because im not bumping into the person in front of me doesn't mean the line is not going to move any faster

Somebody lost their board or a ski at mount snow a few years ago on nitro and was walking down to get it. I was hassling them telling them I was going to race them there and steal it/ sell it on ebay.

And this is the part where I'm supposed to tell you I was just joking with them for the hell of it but I actually stole it and sold it on ebay. Snooze ya loose bro.

Usually if this happens to me I'll pick my skis up, back up a little and step on their tips. It usually does the trick. It happens all the time at Mammoth with all of the LA assholes and in Tahoe with some of the Bay Area dicks. Also pisses me off when people move up on you from the other line even though you and your homies have the right of way in alternating/merging lines.

Well, doing so helps the flow of traffic coming off the lifts (i.e., person on left side wants to go right and vis versa) not so much of a rule but common courtesy that people take upon on my mountain.

Also, Rosa Parks sat where she wanted sooo.... yeah...

Same here, its the most pathetic thing ever. they'll rake the lips for the rails but they won't reshape them. They get smaller and smaller everyday. Eventually theres no lip onto the rail and no skiers can hit a feature in the whole park
