So I badly sprained my ankle a couple weeks ago. I've let it heal the time the doctor said it needed. I can put weight on it without it hurting, I can walk normally, I can even run without discomfort. The one problem is I tried putting on my ski boot, I couldn't because it was painful, it felt as though it was really stretching my ankle. I also can't jump without it being sore. So does that mean its just really stiff and tense or would it still be injured?
Give it time dude. I fucked up my back and because I didn't give my muscles time to heal I got tons of scar tissue and my back felt like shit I literally couldn't bend down and this went on for months due to multiple re-injuries all because I rushed things. I thought I was ok but I would do something that would re-injure my back and it didn't take a lot to get my back re-injured. Let it heal for a little more if it hurts to put in your boot.
If your doctor gas cleared you it's probably just tight from not being used (like your moms vagina) so just stretch it every time you think about it during the day until it's limber enough to ski
