I rode on the sth 14(driver toe.Don't consider any other toe by salomon unless its the guardian), fks, and adrenaline 16(same thing as attack 16 but for touring).
I really like the release on the fks and it keeps me in the binding for a bit longer than most bindings so I have a chance to recover. Another thing is that you will have fks for years. I still see a ton of older pivots/fks around that still pass binding test. What my biggest gripe with the fks though is the damn brakes can't simply be replaced and the fks can be a bitch to put on in pow.
What I like most about the sth14s is how you can get the binding dialed in to your boots. They release when they should and its a smooth release. I do wish they had that extra retention that the fks had. If they did I would go this route without a doubt in my mind. Also after 20ish days you should check the settings on the toes of the sth. They seem to come loose after a bit. It maybe because I ride really hard and am a big guy.
The adrenaline16 I really like when I demoed them but didn't have a release with them. I can tell you though even for a touring binding its stupid light and can imagine the attack13 is much lighter. Didn't have a problem stepping into the binding in pow and they seem burly enough. I did hear that tyrolia has some issues with the afd but if you have a problem with your afd tyrolia will have your back.
id go with the sth or fks. ive had all 3 of these so i have experience. sth are really good bindings without a doubt. ive used them for 3 seasons heavily on 2 different sets of skis all in the park. they have stood up beautifully. fks are the same but i use them on my pow skis. super good quality and even more durable than the sth. axials on the other hand i would not recommend. i bought them after finding good reviews about them but turns out they arent so great. broke my heelpiece after 2 weeks. but i sent them to rossi who literally replaced them with fks. great customer service but i think it shows that they arent to thrilled with the axial durability. bottom line id say fks over sth just because of the metal and i really like rossi now. but sth are a great option and they are cheaper. but axials arent worth the 100 bucks saved from the fks. hope this helped
Attack replaced the peak series. I ride mojo 15's and love them so far, I am definitely looking to pick up the Attack in the future. Tyrolia makes a solid binding that is very under rated.
Well, the Attack has a solid and easy entry. It's locks in with little effort. I like how low it sits on the ski and the wide toe really feels like it's transferring the energy well.
