Care packages for NS members actively on deployment

Thoughts? I figure between all of us we can easily rally and put together a solid 15-20 packages to be shipped out to enlisted Newschoolers members on tour.

What do you guys think? I have a ton of my own personal stuff I'd throw in, along with a bunch of NS schwag and items from our partners & advertisers. Ideally we could also rally a few cash donations to help pay for the shipping of everything.

If there's enough support I'll get the ball rolling this week!

How is someone ignorant for saying they do not want to donate? You know it is possible for someone to be tight on cash and not be able to donate. Also who are you to get mad at someone for not wanting to give up what they have earned?

What? How is it ignorant to say you don't want to send gifts or money to the troops? Many people don't support the mission which the troops are on and many people already feel they support them more than enough through their taxes. Perfectly legit reasons for not wanting to donate.

It isn't about supporting a mission or war or country -- it's about supporting your fellow skier and NS member.

There's also absolutely nothing wrong with not wanting to donate.
