They are not currently making them in the factory right now, they are making a few improvements but basically there is not real "edge" underfoot so its less catchy but theres edge everywhere else around the ski. I believe they are making some improvements and will be releasing a new model next year, atleast thats what i hear
You don't want skis to catch. You need to press the edge against the rail to switch up and spin, catching will make you fall. Durability is questionable at best with moments
Hahah don't mind stose, everything he said was correct, although moment makes great skis. If you are hitting rails and really pushing your skis off big features damage is inevitable. So don't worry to much on these park skis durability rants
my buddy on the frankenski and ive broke a pair of first year moments at coc on the big jump trying a dub but other than that ive never had issues with breaking moments and i put them through more hell than most people.
Honestly if you ski hard in the park I wouldnt go for a moment ski. They have amazing powder skis but durablity is down when it comes to park. Edges fall out fairly easy and top sheets tend to peel off, ive seen it in about 4 pairs.Moment also only has rockered park skis right now so if you're not into rocker in the park like me its a bummer. But like I said moment skis for powder and big mountain are fucking heaven
