Well unfortunately thanks to coppertone the "everywhere the sun touches" permaban God put on him was lifted so that doesn't count anymore.

Also you guys are forgetting that the only reason he came back was because a certain mod w/ impeccable tanlines can't say no to gingers when he's drunk. Maybe he got drunk again and another ginger asked him to? In any case don't lose hope- maybe they will drink more over the holiday and toy with his emotions with random reinstatements and bans like a cat plays with a mouse. Who can say, really?

hmmm I can not agree with you less. Yeah, some people take him too seriously, but it is really annoying when people are discussing skiing and he comes in with some post he thinks is articulate. In the back-end the skiierman unbannings have always had me behind them.

To be honest, I actually agree with the statement that there needs to be ying to the yang in all walks of life... and villans make the heros all the more exciting.

Of course, there is always a line. There is always a line where someone simply becomes so annoying and unhelpful that its not worth the waste of keyboard strokes to keep them around anymore. Skiierman regularly crosses into this place, and gets banned.

I've also always had a policy that for almost any reason of banning, a person deserves another chance after a few years. They come back on an incredibly short leash, and are allowed to try and be a productive member of the community once again. This too has limits, but I think that its a good idea in the end.

I want Newschoolers to be an inclusive place, that represents the opinions of all skiers. I don't mind in the slightest if your opinion makes me completely enraged - all I ask is that you contribute at least a little something to the overall community to help it be a place where we debate the real issues.

So in the end, he's gone again. I don't think we should lament his passing too much... as hell I drunkenly unbanned him at High North a million years ago on a whim. So you never know what can happen in the future.

As well, he had become an utter and complete piece of shit lately, offering absolutely nothing but trolling. So fuck him, move on and lets keep the debate going.
