pretty much just ski the park, had after bangs where okay but the tip broke on me (GAY). I need something thats going to hold up on jumps but still be able to slide rails. was thinking halo 2's, AR7s or Punks, if you got a better ski toss it up there just need some help.
Punx. They work well for Jossi and Keefbox, they should work out perfect for you. The only Armada skis that I think would really be worth your time are the Halo 2's, or Alpha X's. The Ar7 is a stiff and bland ski in my opinion, but it's very durable and snappy.
Not bad, a friend has them. I just don't like Armada skis purely because the bases to me, are to thin. I blew mine up on my Ar6's after about 15 days of not very hard skiing.
I had armada ar6s and now I have Atomic Punx. And I regret the decision every day I ski them. The Armadas are sooooo much better. The Atomics are great for park but they suck at everything else. A symmetrical twin just doesn't make that much sense. Get the AR7...best ski out there.
Be aware about that this years Atomic Punx not is the same ski as last years. A lot stiffer and a bit of tip and tail rocker. And you don't now which of the skis people are writing about in this thread.
It really effects carving performance. We all like to think we ski as much and as hard switch as forward but for most this is not the case. For most a non symmetrical ski will be a better all round ski. But symmetrical skis can be fun for pure park rail use. So if you ride indoors or you ride a tiny hill where you only ride park they could be good.
symmetrical skis fuck up carving performance and create less smooth transition from edge to edge with most cases. symmetrical skis are really just a gimmick unless you can haul ass down to a 70+ stepdown switch, and even then, it really just adds stability. I have noticed that a symmetrical ski will be better when going throuugh slush (symmetrical for park atleast) but it could have just been the skis.
