Planks outerwear

I'm just curious about the quality of planks outerwear. like there soft shell jackets and t-shirts I like the look of them but I want to know if they are going to last for a long period of time. +k for answers, thank you

My experience with it has been really good. The tshirts are tshirts don't wear them to ride as they are cotton. But the riding gear like the tech hoodies and soft shells are great. The tech hoodies are amaZing and the sizing is huge. They have lasted better then my armada hoodie so yeah very good. The soft shells are nice too for park days. You may want a more waterproof jacket for your main use but it's it's pretty dry the soft shells are great. I like there googles too. So yeah planks are well worth a try.

Seconding the Planks love, I have the Reunion soft shell, a base layer top and neck tube form them, all have been great quality.

Base Layer keeps me plenty warm with just one merino layer on top and then my jacket, also is an awesome long fit for people who like that kinda thing.

Neck tube is pretty decent, bit it is just a neck tube in the end, does what it does.

Soft shell is great for dryer days (and indoor riding), nice and warm, solidly made so will last, and again a great fit so y'know it looks cool

Definitely recommended stuff.

Their customer service is also really good.

Thanks for the reply I was looking into the base layer and the reunion shell it seems pretty sick but I would be using it as my jacket all season do you think it would be alright if I later well underneath

I reckon it would be ok except in really harsh weather, their new line has some shells that seem a bit more robust which would be worth checking out. I've only ever used it in good weather and have a proper jacket for colder/snow days.

If you layer right it should be fine, it's the waterproofing that I can't vouch for.

For 14/15 Planks will have full outerwear with a 20K rated jacket and pant, (Yeti Hunter) and then a 15K rated jacket/pant (The Good Times). So more waterproof compared to the softshells. Softshells are great and nice quality, but you don't want to stand out in a downpour in them. The new jackets will give people another option in the line.
