i just picked up some atomic infamous and am wondering what will look better, fks or pivots? if anyone has these set ups and could link pictures would be great +k

Why does it matter which would look better? Get FKS because they are bomb proof, or Griffons.

You can't go wrong with griffons, pretty affordable if you look at last years stuff. But the orange FKS's look sick

because pivots and fks are the exact same binding so i was just wondering which would look better, and if anyone had some photos they could post

People need to understand that regardless of the fact that the fks and pivots are indestructible, these bindings are also too much for a lot of people on this site, I bet a lot of people here ride below 8 din

Okay, Pivots are bomb proof to. Let me re-phrase my original statement.

Get Pivots or FKS because they are bomb proof, or Griffons.

Oh wow, please do a bit more studying on bindings the look pivot is the exact same binding as the fks it is just rebranded.

Maybe the Kiwi Green Pivots if you are looking for something colourful. If you ask me personally I think that a more neutral colour (Black or Pivots in Chrome) would look better because the ski itself is pretty busy, colour wise. But it just depends on how you want it to look.

My set up is here, not the infamous' but I've got Pivot 14s.

I would also suggest Salomon sth drivers / sth2. Great bindings and they are cheaper than the fks if it matters.

Just get some sth12 drivers from last season. They are white and orange and look by far the best on infamous IMO. Fks could look ok but I would never put an fks on a ski but that's just me.

Wht not go try chatting to some shop staff though. They work with the products your asking about everyday do can usually give way better user advice then someone here who had maybe only owned one pair of bindings so gives very biased advice. Try to if to if you can always buy products in shops rather then online and use the experiences of the shop staff.

Well if you work at a shop surely you have been mounting up a few pairs. What do you think look good. As I said the sth12 driver from last season looks really good on the infamous. Way better then an orange fks or a green pivot would. So don't restrict yourself to bindings which to be honest won't look great and are a pain to maintain.

The way in which the brakes are replaced sucks. I mean it is awful. I break brakes like anyone else so I want a binding which I can maintain easily. I also don't rate the 140 toe at all so would look at the 180 only and I think the sth16 steel is marginally better then the 180 due to the ease of maintaining. So yeah I would never use a fks as there are better options.

yea. im pretty sure I have broken every pair of binding out there. I broke the brake on an fks in one run, shit you not. my binding of choice is the older salomon equipe 747. 14 din and 98% metal. Plus they are completely adjustable in every way possible.

Yeah the old salomons are great. I still run a set of s9-16 steels. I do personally prefer the sth16 but you can't argue with a full steel binding.
