I think tats look awesome on black people and Hawaiians.  They have better skin tone and are more muscular so therefore are suited to them.


But if your white and have them they should only be noticable at the beach or in bed IMO and guys can pull them off way easier than women.  Nothing wrong with a hidden tat or two if your a chick but I don't want to be fucking staring at something ugly when I talk to you.

Honestly I don't really care, its a method of expression and its up to you on what you do with your body. On the matter of attractiveness, I think an understated, meaningful, and artistic tattoo is actually pretty hot...

It was done when I was young and didn't appreciate good work. It was poorly designed and executed, still looks like shit. Also, WAY too big. EH, live and learn.

First of all, white skin retains ink SO MUCH BETTER than dark skin. So tatts actually come out the best on the whitest skin.

And As for the 'staring at something ugly' comment... I don't know where to begin. First, here's something I bet any 5 year old could tell you- it's about what's on the inside. And number two- beggars can't be fucking choosers. If you're lucky enough to have any girl even look in your direction- let alone have patience and tolerance enough to exchange words with you- you should be appreciative because I'm willing to bet all my money you have a face like a smacked butthole and a personality to match.

To each their own, some people love tattoos that other people think are stupid.

I think tattoos should have some sort of purpose but a lot of people get tattoos to be "cool" and they end up sucking. I want to get a tattoo some day but I have no idea what I would even do to this day, it would have to be pretty meaningful and definitely not be too obvious.

I read something the other day about the origin of tattoos like that. Apparently sailors used to get pictures of Jesus, etc on their backs so the first mate would think twice about flogging them. Crazy.

Nasty. No matter how "artsy" they may be, I'd rather have a painting/picture of something since those don't turn disgusting as you age. Never seen a good-looking tattoo in my life. As far as something meaningful, if it is as meaningful as people say it is, there is no need to ink it into your skin, it will mean just as much to a person regardless.

I've always wanted tattoos and always knew I wanted a Washington/mountains/riding tat... My brother is an artist and my dad has a ton of tattoos so I kinda have always thought they were dope. Finally decided on exactly what I want and how/where I want it! Super stoked. Gonna do Mt. Rainier traditional style with a bold outline nd watercolorish looking shading on my shoulder blade.
