I feel like a tatoo doesn't define a person but it should represent something that's meaningful to them. Sometimes they look good and sometimes they don't but who am I to judge. Oh I quoted you because I think I saw a picture of you and you looked pretty and we should talk and yeah.

Personally, none of my tattoos mean anything at all. I hate shitty "such is life" and "faith" and shitty little heart tattoos. But again, that's just me. It's the same with looking at art for me. If i like it, I like it. I don't care what it means. It's an aesthetic.

And powpowpowpowpow… you judging people by what they look like only tells me that YOU'RE incredibly insecure and probably put all your effort into your physical appearance and aren't a very nice person to be around. And that is a totally provable and applicable thesis to apply to you because all your posts make me ashamed to share a gender with you and your primary views.

do what you want. but i find it hilarious when speaking to someone about their tats, and they say something dumb like "yeah, im just really comfortable in my skin" or "i love being who i am"... retards. if you are so comfortable and ok with who you are and how you look, why would you ink it up and get sweet facial piercings? nothin against tats or piercings, but when people dont know why they get them or say shit like "well if you cant accept who i am, yada yada..." i like to say things like "sure, because you were so accepting of yourself that you totally altered how you look..."

everyone is insecure. I dont put a lot of time into my appearance at all, but you can believe what you want. You've never been around me either so that's not for you to say. I respect your right to get tattoos because you like them, thats your opinion. My opinion is that they don't look good. I was kidding about the daddy issues. Tattoos don't make a person, i just don't think they look good on women and they, more often than not, equate to some scummy-ness. There are always exceptions. Merry Christmas.

In terms of execution, design, and "look" I really like that tattoo. I like the simplicity, the stark black outline and no color. I just really dig the placement, the scale, etc.

I don't know what the significance is, the purpose, the symbolism, or whatever (and maybe there isn't any), but aesthetically speaking, I think it's a rad tattoo. I'm sure it isn't that unique or anything, but I've personally never seen it before.

Although, I will add…I genuinely am not insecure. Choose to believe it or no, I don't care. Sure I might get embarrassed, but that is a very rare sight. So no, not everyone is insecure.

do you not realize that half the girls on NS who have been on here twice as long as you have sick tats...oh i guess not......but to each their own I have a tat that represents not only the sport I love but my family who also loves the sport and the winter season...but I'm glad your so opinionated..

I did, and if I'm being honest my man, I think it's a bit tacky, and sort of a "humblebrag" if you will. Like, "oooh look how worldly and well traveled I am! Read it and weep you provincial peasants!"

I don't think that's how you intend it, but truthfully, that would be my reaction to a stranger with that tattoo—that it's pretentious. I'm not saying that you should get a carbon copy of that other tattoo, but truthfully, I think his tattoo basically says the exact same thing you want yours to, e.g., "I am a citizen of the world, it all is beautiful, I see as much of it as I can, and I refuse to buy into nationalism bullshit"....or something (if it means anything).

Basically, I think his tattoo could communicate what you want, "I'm an explorer, and a rollingstone" without being so literal about it. I mean...isn't what you're describing literally a facebook app? The world map with all of the person's travels marked?

I don't know, I just don't particularly care for the idea, but please don't take it personally. Tattoos are personal, and totally subjective, if you are in love with the idea, let it simmer a few months, maybe start with a simple map and add to it if you feel so inclined. I meant no offense, and just wanted to give you my honest opinion.
