Replying to Why sag your ski pants?

This has been on my mind for a while now and i am just now addressing it. Why do people sag their snow pants? Wouldn't it be uncomfortable to have your pants below your hips because you wouldn't be able to move your legs that much. Also if you fall snow would get down there and that would suck obviously. Now i think that snow pants should cover your boots because it makes you look like a gaper if you don't. But why not just buy longer pants and keep them on your hips. Discuss.
