Why sag your ski pants?

This has been on my mind for a while now and i am just now addressing it. Why do people sag their snow pants? Wouldn't it be uncomfortable to have your pants below your hips because you wouldn't be able to move your legs that much. Also if you fall snow would get down there and that would suck obviously. Now i think that snow pants should cover your boots because it makes you look like a gaper if you don't. But why not just buy longer pants and keep them on your hips. Discuss.

From my experience wearing snow pants around my waist line feels uncomfortable. Wearing suspenders that allow my pants to sit around my hips loosely is the best way. I wear my snow pants at the same level I wear my jeans. When they're up above my hips I feel bunched up. So when I'm snowboarding I want to feel as comfortable and free flowing as possible. For me its about 90% confort and 10% style. I like the way baggier pants look and feel.

Bigger pants, tall tees and hoodies means your small imperfect movements are masked to some degree. If everything you have is skin tight then its harder to look smooth. Bigger stuff seams to flow more and make things look cleaner.

Its also a comfort thing. Sagged pants means less constriction and bunching in some areas.

Props to tight pants and fitted people wish I could pull that off.

Kinda just depends on the size. Saga doesnt really need to be sagged XL is fucking huge, theyre made to look like youre sagging them. Ive got like XL salomon pants so i sag em like 2 inches and use suspenders just cause its comfier. Some people sag the fuck out of their pants and dont button or zip the dick hole cause they wouldnt be able to move their legs. personal preference, simmer down.

I don't intentionally "sag" my ski pants, however they may appear to be saggy because I am 6'3' and they are made for the slightly overweight folk. In fact, i actually wear suspenders to keep them at my waist, so although it seems they are sagged it is merely the style of the pant itself.

I dont even try to sag my pants, but if the pants are baggy then the waist is gonna be too big, so they tend to sit a good amount lower than my waist.
