This was pretty cool considering at the end it actually made sense. I had the most similar dialect to where I was raised. Pretty cool!

I'm Canadian as well, (live just North of the Dakotas) and I got Seattle, Spokane, and Tacoma. Ha, not even close to where I thought I would get. For all three cities my 'key' answer was calling the big cat a cougar.

I grew up all around the country, my dad was in the air force. Ispent the most amount of time on the central coast of california and denver colorado. It hit both on the head. I had denver, santa rosa, and san francisco. Pretty damn close.

It got reno exactly which is weird because I feel like Reno doesn't have that signigicant of a presence. Probably uses location settings.

I got Omaha Nebraska which is funny because I'm from Portland, but my moms from Omaha. Pretty cool, I have been told i speak like I'm from Nebraska before.

took it last night and got rockford + a couple of other cities. Rockford is pretty close to me. Just took it again and somehow got Wichita, Lincoln, and Fort Wayne...which are not close at all.

top city I share dialect with according to the survey is Detroit. Which is perfect cuz I grew up in the metro area but spent a ton of time down town.

It got Yonkers, NY, which is within 10 minutes of my house, also Newark, NJ which is 45 minutes. Then Boston, which is like a near 5 hour drive but similar way of speaking I guess.

It definitely doesn't use location settings. I did it and it pinpointed to Madison (i'm from Green Bay.) And my mom did it and it pointed to her hometown in Dayton Ohio. So its surprisingly accurate.

It pegged me as east coast. Makes sense.

Some questions didn't apply - like the highway/thruway/pike question. I use all of the terms depending on where I am. NY I'm on the Thruway, MA I'm on the Pike...

Otherwise it was pretty accurate.

It said I was from Northern Minnesota (just south of Thunder Bay) I was born and raised southern Ontario (an hour and a bit north of Toronto), but have lived in BC for over a decade now...


Not really accurate for this guy.

I grew up in Seattle and go to school in boulder... It gave me one from Southern California and two from Michigan (Detroit and one other place). Not accurate at all

Just re did it and got the same thing except instead of somewhere in nebraska it put milwaukee. People have thought i was canadian because people in northern mn sort of have a canadian accent.
