This show is my favorite! Seattle show in this really odd pool concert. FIRST CASEY JONES debut in concert.
good to do homework too
This is a thread I can get behind.
The archive is a great place listen to shows. Most can be downloaded as well. Some shows have been taken off because they are on dick picks and sold as albums.
Look up the Burton Hall shows, they are really good. Classic Dead.
I been moving from the 70s into the early 80s lately.
Futhur is good, but Bobby sings way too many of Jerry's songs which can be annoying. Phil and Friends from their November run was out of this world. Check out the archive.
I never got a chance to see The Grateful Dead before Jerry died. Which bums me out.
I am glad others on here are into the Dead.
Yea I been looking for the recording Al sit in cant find it anywhere.
I dont know why Bobby needs to sing with you have fake Jerry. That being said it is not going to stop me from listening to every run or going to shows.
This is what I am listening to today

The first set was great, the recording is unreal.
Working on getting through the second set before I leave work. Prob wont happen though.
Anyone have a fav studio album
I am huge fan of In the dark (partly because it was what turned me on to the dead), workingmans is a great album too.
JordanButtfartBeen on a Dead kick for the last few days. But I'm also looking for some similar bands, like String Cheese Incident, Widespread, and Keller Williams, does anyone have any suggestions?
theabortionatorThe black crowes are sort of similar to panic in a sense. That southern rock vibe.
Not really the same but you might enjoy Greensky bluegrass or Railroad earth. Imo 2 of the best touring bands out there. Also leftover salmon kills it.
