Okay,everyone hating on E.Raps, shut the fuck up! He was sick, his speeches were short and nice, no reason enough to call him gay or a fag, he layed it down for y'all!
Pollard= I thought he had a better section in Happy happy. Much better. Even in Yearbook the skiing was better. Too much falls.
Midgets= pretty awesome, a lot of skiing. Everyone talking shit on Kye should die.
Rory= here is where it wasn't a ski movie anymore, it was just a superbly done edit with shots of skiing. What I hate about most movies is a random black and white shot here and there for no reason. in Rory's part, the theme was old horror movies et cetera so almost every shot was moody b&w. The Mammoth jumps where after landing the picture rolled down for antoher jump was sick. Bad things: Rory's style.
Dash= nice segment, but again, the drama shots go ahead of the skiing. They're cool but just bumming doesn't amp me. His nines and sevens were shot from FAR AWAY so you couldn't tell if they were stylie or not.
Mick/Shoya= not good enough skiing compared to others, I think. Pimping theme AGAIN goes ahead of the skiing, although it's nicely done. There just isn't any money shot, or even an overall sickness in the tricks, which is sad, cause in Stereotype Mick was awesome!
CR= Now this is where it gets good. Cr isn't inventing any new tricks here it's kind of 'same old same old' but the style level. THE STEEZE. Sickest sw cork 7 critical.. Sick unnatural 3's off natural terrain during runs.. But the music and the Top Gun theme is what makes it fantastic hahaha! Best parody of Top Gun I've ever seen.. Better than Hot Shots.
Tanner= Probably not the sickest part he's ever had, but atleast he's the director so he did it his way. The shots with the C-Crew including Tommi Yli-Anttila (Finnish?!) and others are sick! I don't know if the shots have been amazingly colorcorrected or just shot with an amazing camera, but they look fantastic. The best song in the film, too. The editing is pretty tight, some hidden nuances here and there. Sw 7 shifty..need I say more? 'He ain't talking, he's straight skiing...BITCH.'
Overall= Not the best movie ever, BUT it is the most original ski movie yet, and I hope this will push films into another direction, themed parts are crazy good if executed nicely, like CR's here. Iberg will truly be remembered after this.
Although the commercials get annoying after the first time ( excluding Line HAHAHAHAH) it does seem like a show on the telly more than a movie. A great achievement in some ways, but yeah, more skiing would have made this GREAT.
