Yeah I think part of the reason we love it so much is simply because we grow up with it. Like I said, I like both Hershey's and european chocolate, but to me the taste too different to compare them.
Steamed cheeseburger!!! I must try this...in quebec we have "steamies" which are steamed hot dogs with creamy coleslaw ontop. Never had a steamed burger though...deff on my list of things to try...going to FL in 3 days.
This. Google JOhn Rocker if you want an accurate description of New York.
I told some freinds I'd go down this Fri/Sat night to NYC. I am cringing in anticipation of that trip I really don't feel like it. I just want to drive my black ass back to Reno tonight IMO and be back home at Western VIllage in Sparks in time for the Cuse bowl game Friday.
Fuck New York. Last time I was there I got robbed at gunpoint in a gypsy cab and dropped outside Yankee Stadium.
if you wanna have the most expensive dinner of your life yes do this. Not saying its not worth it because the steaks are incredible, but its so god damn expensive.
-Try going to a concert or game in MSG, that's always a good time.
-Just walk around the city a lot and you'll find plenty of nice local places and there are a million awesome places to eat.
-If you're feeling adventurous make your way up north a little and there are a lot of nice lakes and places to go hiking
if you go to Museum of Natty History, hit up shake shack which is nearby, really overhyped but still really good at the same time. walk the brooklyn bridge! sick views. but seriously just walk around central park and also soho/the village if youre into streetwear stuff. everything is also ridiculously expensive.
if you want cheap there's china town, which has gotten massive. and im from oregon so anywhere with sales tax seems expensive. if you want a laugh though go into the 5th ave stores and look at the prices on things. there was a beanie from armani that was $200. cray.
