Can i use a tarp for a sliding surface? (pics of drop in included)

This is what my drop in looks like so far

The plan is to cover the entire frame with plywoood and nail down the sliding surface on top of that. My mom has an old tarp that she said i could use but i was wondering if that would work? Also im going to build the jump on in the summer because right now i have enough snow.

Forgot to add that the tarp is pretty old and has a couple of holes, so i might end up just buying a new one.

I would honestly just go and buy some turf. It'll cost a bit more not much but it will last much longer and more than likely be faster.

in all honesty that won't work very well.
1. tarps don't slide that well, i've tried using them for landings and it just doesn't really work.
2. I really suggest making your setup taller and a steep as possible, mines around 9 feet tall and it works perfect, steep with a smooth tranny and you're good to go.

i decided with lattice for the down part and turf for the tranny and jump on

lattice at home depot is pretty cheap and it is insanely fast. You don't really need any water either. You should keep the tarp and use it for the landing
