Missed Twitter Connection

I just got into UVM and i twitter searched "uvm acceptance" just because i'm on twitter more than Facebook, and I wanted to find some cool skiers en route to college with me. I guess there weren't that many tweets with those specific keywords, cause i didnt have to scroll down too far before (unbeknownst to me) i hit the acceptance tweets FROM 6 MONTHS AGO. I tweeted some girl saying something like, "yo you ski and you go to vt, lets be friends!"

Basically she quote tweeted me saying "hahahah wtf" and now im mortified...She's already in vermont and i feel like i have ruined my chance to make friends with any skiers out there. I think i need to cool it with this college stuff until spring.

I know, i'm being paranoid. I'm just bummed she took it the wrong way and ignored me when I tried to straighten it out. NS is not the place to go for social reinforcement...or any sort of positive reinforcement at all.
