Pipe vs slope vs big air vs backcountry

what would you rather be famous for in the ski industry? For me it would be slope style just because its OG

Back country for sure. Nothing more manly than stomping a huge cliff, charging spines in Alaska, and killing dreams and poppin pillows in BC.

Main reason, when you hike up and earn that run, it feels like the best run in the world. Just keeps you craving for more

This. BC allows for more freedom of expression of skiing than all other disciplines, and it conveys that sense of adventure like nothing else.

BC, face blasting pow, big natural hits and steep spines. Everything else is just rollerblading and downrails.

All about that BC though. I'd like to be like Dane Tudor, Thall or Parker White because they do everything. If I had to choose just one it would be BC for sure.

slopestyle is just as old as pipe and big air. "backcountry" pre dates the existence of terrain parks entirely. Hell, it predates the ski industry as we know it. The European dudes who brought the sport over to North America were skiing the "backcountry". THAT is OG.

I don't really have anything to add to this thread, just wanted to point out that what you said doesn't make sense.
