i think you should. im pretty sure ive heard from reputable sources that the wax that skis come with is good in the sense that it retains it and stores well, but in terms of performance it isn't as good as what you'd put on

I even waxed my on3p's when I got them, but I also wax all my skis at the start of each season after I remove my storage coat and then wax them at most every 5 uses
Always a good idea to do a hot scrape and then a hot wax on any new ski, regardless of the manufacturer. Dirt, dust, other weirdness are on the bases from storage and transport. Best to remove it with a hot scrape and then add a fresh coat of wax.
