What the fuck Jiberish

Recently i've seen that Jiberish did a collab with Railcar Fine Goods, which i think is sick. Seeing them do a collab with an old fashion wool company is good, especially with them switching it up with all these companies and doing more collabs outside of the ski industry. I still like them as a company because of their fine products, even though it's expensive but i always 1-2 products by them every year..

At any rate, I'm sorry but i understand how vintage these jeans must be but seriously $200? I just do not see how anything could ever been that expensive and still make a profit overtime, let alone sell at all.


Also what the fuck, a $400 jacket? No offense but you guys are some Versace, Tom Ford, etc.

I know you guys sacrifice more for what you want to do then the actual profit, I've emailed you guys about your structure at Jiberish, it makes sense but its crazy right now.

You guys are an amazing company but this just seems so expensive.

No, i'm active, I just don't wear jeans when I am I guess. Who would want to wear jeans when they're playing dodgeball? Way too restricting. If i'm doing something active i'm wearing sweatpants or shorts. Don't get me wrong, they have faded some and have wear and tear, but no big holes or anything.

If anyone wants good denim, check out Unbranded Brand. It's a side project started by the owner of Naked and Famous. $90 for a pair shipped or raw denim. I bought some 13.5oz skinny fit and they're great. Super tough, durable, look nice, and you aren't breaking your bank account.

I at least can't afford all designer denim, i have one pair of expensive  raw denim jeans (naked and famous), but lets not just say fuck all you poor people for not having an extra $400 to be fashionable like me.

Its people with attitudes like yours that give higher fashion a douchey name, and whats caused a lot more recent hate on jiberish. They're shit is still fairly priced compared to the rest of the industry, but the added douchey stigma that you give off makes me not want to be part of it.

it is definitely a high price for a pair of jeans, but people are willing to pay it. i stopped buying jiberish clothes as they gradually expanded farther from a skiing base. jiberish is doing better than ever right now, and i respect that, but i'd rather take my money elsewhere at this point

Instead of buying $200 jeans I buy $2500 ski set ups. I'll stick with my $30 khakis. Since when did being into fashion become cool? In my day any kid into fashion would be bullied and beat to a pulp!

two years ago i bought one pair of j lindeberg dress pants for a 150 and a pair of perry ellis or something for fifty bucks. I wore them both the same amount over that time, but the JL's still look as new as the day I bought them and the other ones were so embarassingly shabby that I stopped wearing them like 8 months ago.

The point is, money spent on a quality goods is money well spent. Just make sure they're quality goods

Yes but we're on the topic of jeans, not dress pants. To people saying that the more expensive jeans "last longer", it makes no sense. I have a couple of Levis that Ive been wearing for about 2 yrs now and they look perfectly fine to me. I actually dont like paying $50 for jeans.

Also are people really comparing cars to jeans? Theyre JEANS. Soon enough they'll be threads on ppl excited to spend ridiculous amounts of money on socks and boxers.

No, raw denim really does last longer. Its better material. Like this fall, i fell and slid off my longboard. I probably slid about 30 feet. I was going pretty damn fast. Well i've done this in shorts/cheap pants, and this rips a hole right through them and gives me roadrash. But this time, i was wearing my raws, and it barely even made a mark in them. Theres no way you could pick up a 22oz pair of loomstate denim and say that its the same quality of material as regular pants. Its just not.

Not saying that regular denim is crap and you should buy $400 pairs of jeans, but to some people, the price is worth it. Whether thats because of the looks/fit, durability, feel, or anything else, some people just enjoy nice clothing. Nothing wrong with that.

Two things: if I'm gonna spend $600 on a pair of jeans, it better have a built in blowjob machine.

Secondly, i don't get how a pair of raw denim can be that much. If anything, broken in jeans should be more expensive because of the process right? I could be wrong but couldn't I just go out and sew a piece of unused denim together and save myself $600? Wouldn't that be the exact piece you are buying?

If that's the case then I might buy a sewing machine and bulk raw denim from china and sell it to all the skinny jean hipsters here. Cha....Ching!
