So a teenager was out hunting when she was attacked by a bear. Because they are both sympathetic and rational, the folks at PETA sent her a letter, asking her to take this experience and consider how animals feel when they are attacked by humans and try to sympathize with them in the future.

Lets follow the news and hope that one day a PETA executive gets fucking robbed, and beaten by a poor homeless man. THEN we send her a letter asking her to look at it from the preservative of the homeless man. He probably hasn't had a decent meal in a long time and a lot of pent up anger for some of the bad decisions he made in the past. So if she would just look at it from his prospective, maybe she could start giving more to the homeless with her wallet and talking to them about their problems.

they do all this shit to provocate and be in the media, so by sharing this and raging about how stupid they are you are helping them.

fact is that animals should be treated better and i cant hate on someone who wants to better that situation, no matter how stupid their methods sound.

the letter is kinda ballsy and rude but it makes sense.
hunters are just out killing for fun, but when the tables turn all of a sudden its a tragic attack.

It's part of the risk of being a hunter, yes, but that isn't the issue here. The issue is that PETA sends her a letter immediately after the fact reprimanding her for being there in the first place, RIGHT after a seriously traumatic event. Granted it isn't quite the same, but its the practically same thing as reporters running into newtown right after the shootings and trying to bug all of the parents for statements when their kids had JUST died from it simply to get a political statement across. Its a ridiculously insensitive move on their part. And to the people that are hating on hunting, I seriously hope you are all vegitarian/vegan because if not you're hypocritical pieces of shit. The animals live/die about 10x more humanely than that mcdonalds burger your stuffing your face with and there are actual reasons for these animals to be killed by a conservationist perspective. P.S., I'm not even a hunter, but you guys sound like a bunch of dumbasses

PETA is retarded... Like honestly I am not sure if these people are just so radically brainwashed so that their moral compasses just no longer function, or that these extreme tactics are just calculated publicity stunts...

If they are publicity stunts then they are doing a poor job because instead of actually getting across a message of treating animals better, they are in fact losing their audience because they are so crass and careless for human life that no one gives a fuck about the animals in comparison.

Hunting for fun is no good in my book. Mindless killing for the sake of killing is not okay, but hunting for food is another story. Animals have been eating animals since the beginning of life, so why should it be any different now. I think hunting is far more humane than farmed animals, but it's completely impractical to think humans could survive on hunting in their current numbers. But all in all, hunting for for is okay and for fun is not. IMO.

If you are hunting legally, then you are hunting for a good reason. See a long time ago we were all like fuck wolves (and other predators) are scary motherfuckers and be eating my chilluns so we killed the vast majority of them. Now, alot of animals are missing their predator in their ecology, which if left unchecked could cause overpopulation and a massive clusterfuck of an ecology. Now we humans, thanks to the mistake of past humans, have to act as these animals predators. Hunters are performing a service to our world, a service that yes, many people enjoy doing, but it is a necessary service. Unless you want herds of deer blocking the road and making you late as fuck for work/skiing/school.
