Pros who deserve a pro model

there is some people in skiing who seriously deserve their own pro model, for example phil casabon should deffs have his own pro model just because he is OG (i mean skis) and someone from volkl should have their own pro model shit and bobby brown should have his own pro model

imo people like bobby dont really need a pro model. pro models should be for people who design the ski and need something unlike what a company produces. bobby is a great skier but suspects work just fine for him, so unless he wants something different, why give him a pro model

Yup, my thoughts exactly. People like Pollard, Bentchetler and E-dollo has very specific skiing styles and need equipment to suit their styles.
I dont think that it is a coincidence that the majority of pro models are bigmountain/powder skis either.

I think line should do an andrew whiteford / colter hinchliffe model, like a hard charging big mtn ski.
Yeah i know they have the influence but I think it would be better if it was just an official pro model

Exactly.

Like take Tom Wallisch. His pro model is only two changes removed from another ski on the scott line - slightly wider underfoot and a better base. I don't think a race base counts as an actual change to the ski, just an improvement, so the jib TW is only one change away from another ski. All seems kinda pointless having two models.

I was gonna say Durtschi should really have a pro model ski but as long as he's with Atomic he won't have his own niche and thus his own pro model. Durtschi and Benchetler are two of my favorite skiers but it'd be so redundant for both of them to have pro models on the same company for virtually the same style of riding.
