It doesn't matter how he did last year. The team is determined by this years qualifyers. Isn't that true? Its going to be a fight to the end between Bobby, Gus, McRae, Tom, Joss for the next spots.

so a country can't just send whoever they want for an event? the individual themselves has to qualify by FIS standards before being allowed to compete?

nah they cant just "send" someone, they have to qualify.
